As many Americans wait to hear TikTok’s fate ahead of a possible ban set for Sunday, Jan. 19, one strip club wants partygoers to show them their “tiks” during a unique and fun event to celebrate the app that millions love.

The law is set to take effect on Sunday, Jan. 19, although there has been talks about a possible extension. But as of Thursday morning, there is still no word on that.
As the January 19 deadline quickly approaches, many TikTok users are preparing for the worst by downloading their content so they can keep it, telling their followers what apps they can find them on, and even moving over to a Chinese based app, RedNote, that’s similar to TikTok.
As TikTok, the platform renowned for its viral dance trends and lighthearted culture, faces a potential ban on Sunday, January 19, Spearmint Rhino New York—Manhattan’s premier gentlemen’s club—is celebrating the app’s “iconic legacy” in a fun and memorable way.
On Saturday, January 18, the club will host a “Show Us Your Tiks” event, inviting attendees aged 21+ to show the TikTok app on their phones for complimentary entry and get a free lap dance between 8 and 9 p.m.
